For Love of Heritage

Hello, Beautiful People.

In movies, we see people going to art exhibits wearing fancy clothes and they just stare on one painting to another. I’m like, “Isn’t that boring?” I discovered, it’s not.  Last month, I viewed Virgilio Aviado‘s, “For Love of Heritage” exhibit at the The National Commission of Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Gallery. The exhibit reveals Philippine historical landmarks like churches, lighthouses & ancestral homes. It’s quite relaxing to stand in front of each painting (acrylic on canvas) and notice the detail of every stroke. It’s quite amazing and beautiful. See for yourself.

I know nothing about art aesthetics but it didn’t stop me in appreciating a talented artist’s works. I’m definitely going to visit exhibits more often.  You should try it sometime. :) Follow me on twitter: @zeeoctober.
